Question #1:

Why is he so insensitive....guy opinions please!?

My husband is really insensitive.
It seems that whatever he says comes out of his @$$.
No matter how nice I am to him or no matter what I do for him, I never get a thank you. I never seem to get any kind of acknowledgement from him yet he fishes for compliments and praises from me all the time. When he does something nice for me, I'd consider it rude not to say thank you or acknowledge it one way or another.

Lately he's been saying things that have been getting to me.
He made a comment how married life "sucks" because our toddler gave him hard time when they went out. I don't know what the hell our toddler has to do with our marriage.

Then he suggested how he is into skinny women. Ok fine, what man isn't. I was skinny before I had our last baby three weeks ago. Yes I have a lot of weight to lose but considering that my body is still recovering from pregnancy and giving birth, I would think he'd be more sensitive around this issue knowing how insecure I feel right now. Yes I've told him how I feel.

I've never been a size 0, but I've been a size 6 and he's always commented on how "fat" I was even back when I was at my thinnest.
I don't understand why he'd even marry me or be with me if I wasn't the type of a woman he'd find attractive.
I don't want to be with someone who will look down on me. I want to be with someone who'd love me and find me attractive.
I even told him this and he doesn't say anything.

Then of course before I had our baby, we went to the beach. I didn't swim and I wasn't in a bathing suit BECAUSE he made it clear to me he would be grossed out when he said "eww" when I suggested I get a maternity bathing suit.

There are ton of other examples I could list here.
I just don't understand why he says things like this and expects me to be A-OK with them.

I don't go telling him how his barely 5in penis is inadequate for me.
I don't go telling him how disgusting his breath it at all times. For the love of God brush your teeth longer than 30seconds.
I don't go around telling him that his 265lb frame is affecting our sex life. He is lazy and totally out of shape yet he has something to say to me. At least my weight gain was with purpose.

I'm not perfect and neither is he. Why is it that its ok for him to say crap to me, but I personally feel it would be very hurtful and rude for me to point out and say things about him that would hurt his feelings.

I really need your guys' help here.
What do I say to him next time he makes a suggestive comment that he is into women who are clearly nothing like me.
I wish he'd just leave me and be with someone who'd make him happy because I'm clearly not doing it.

Men, please give me advice. Why is he being a total f u c k ing jerk?
I married him because i love him. i unlike him find him attractive. He's the type of man i'd want and despite his rude comments, I let things go because if I were to retaliate, it would be a war zone. What kind of marriage is it if I have to fight back every time. I don't want to have to fight back or be on my toes whenever he talks to me.

Question #3:

Where to buy a bathing suit - 13 weeks pregnant?

I'm 13 weeks pregnant with my second and having a hard time finding a bathing suit that fits well. I'm not big enough to wear a maternity suit and don't think I will be all summer (hopefully). I bought a tankini from Target at the beginning of Summer and it's already too tight/small. I'm assuming this is because most of their suits are junior sizes. Any suggestions on where to find a swim suit that will fit for another 2 months or so?
Thanks Rwebgirl. I just wanted to add that I am a petite person; hence the junior size, but now my boobs, butt, and obviously tummy are a little bigger than they were 2 months ago lol. Also, I want something pretty affordable since I won't be wearing it for very long :)

Question #4:

Would plus size swim wear work the same as maternity swim wear?

I'm having a really hard time finding a swimming suit that will cover me up. A lot of the maternity swim wear I'm finding are bikinis and such. I want something that covers my belly and my butt. Like a skirt or something. Will plus size swim wear fit me the same as maternity wear would? I want to be comfortable and covered up. I have plans to go to a water park on the 17th of July and by that time I'm going to be around 27 weeks.
I am a plus size girl anyway...I wear a XL normally.

Question #5:

So, I want to go swimming and my husband is being a total a-hole about it....?

I'm very pregnant and with a growing belly, everything else grew too, if you know what I mean.
I'm no supermodel, I am considered overweight, but I figured I am pregnant and why should I be stuck in the house while my family goes to the beach.

I told my husband I want to get a maternity bathing suit, and his reaction was...get this....."eww".
I thought we're mature adults and me being overweight is a temporary "problem" which should not get in the way of me living my life, especially the fun part of it.

I was really looking forward to going to the beach and swimming with my toddler, but he totally killed my mood.

Again, I know my belly is huge, I know my butt sticks out, I know my boobies are giant.
I don't understand why he'd have this reaction to me wearing a bathing suit.

How would you handle your husband being discouraging about you wearing a bathing suit while pregnant?

I feel like ripping his head off because the last thing I need right now is feel bad about myself. I feel really good, especially knowing I am fast approaching my due date so I figured I'd have some fun before I have the baby.

I just told him "I'm sorry I'm not a size 0 to get your approval".
He just said I was in a bad mood and he'd talk to me later. WTF!!!

Seriously, how would you handle this?
I want to still go, but if he's going to look at me like i'm some kind of monster, then I'd rather just stay home.

Question #6:

When you were pregnant what did you wear the the beach?

I am so excited for summer! The pools the beaches everything! But I have no idea what to wear! I haven't found a maternity bathing suit that I liked yet. At first I was all for wearing a bikini but the bigger my belly gets the more I want to keep it to myself and husband. I am having some body issues and don't feel comfortable in a bikini at this point. I have always been really skinny and worn bikinis. Don't get me wrong I am not upset about not wearing a bikini bc I am so happy we are having a baby! But I don't know what to wear to swim in! So I was thinking of this. Maybe wearing my bikini with a maternity tank top or tube top over it? Or would that be ugly? I will be 24 weeks on thursday and my bump is pretty big! Does anyone have any suggestions?!?! thanks!!!

Are you going to avoid the pool/beach altogether? Or buy a suit and let it all hang out?

if you do have a suit, is it two piece or one piece and where can I buy one?

Question #18:

13 weeks pregnant and I need to VENT!! Anyone Else?

Grrrr, so.... number 1: I know pregnant woman can be emotional. number 2: I know you should be a healthy weight before trying to conceive, but GUESS WHAT some women have health issues that cause excessive weight. and GUESS WHAT Those woman want babies too!! My point is according to the clothing stores, Fat women don't get pregnant and they MOST CERTAINLY do not go swimming!! AHHHHH I NEED TO VENT!!! I went to about 10 different stores today, NOBODY had plus size maternity, and DEFINETLY not a plus size maternity swim suit!! I am leaving for vacation very soon, and need swim suit. I didn't think it would be a big deal, ugh was I wrong. I mean I tried the "just get a bigger suit" That did not work, when it was to the size my prego tummy fit, the chest was way to big, which is hard to believe considering I wore a 40 DD BEFORE I got pregnant, and I know they are swollen and have grown. What the heck is a pregnant, plus size (16) girl to do?!!
Thanks ladies, for all your support, its good to know i'm not alone!!! I never heard of this "motherhood" store, but I checked it out online. They only had two, but one was totally cute, and 2 is more than I found anywhere else!!

As to the man who answered "why did you wait all this time" Well if you had read my question, I said I didn't think it would be a big deal. And by the way, I googled it, and the first seven or eight sites, suits were 90-100 Dollars!!! No thank you.....
