Question #1:
Why is he so insensitive....guy opinions please!?
My husband is really insensitive. It seems that whatever he says comes out of his @$$.
No matter how nice I am to him or no matter what I do for him, I never get a thank you. I never seem to get any kind of acknowledgement from him yet he fishes for compliments and praises from me all the time. When he does something nice for me, I'd consider it rude not to say thank you or acknowledge it one way or another.
Lately he's been saying things that have been getting to me.
He made a comment how married life "sucks" because our toddler gave him hard time when they went out. I don't know what the hell our toddler has to do with our marriage.
Then he suggested how he is into skinny women. Ok fine, what man isn't. I was skinny before I had our last baby three weeks ago. Yes I have a lot of weight to lose but considering that my body is still recovering from pregnancy and giving birth, I would think he'd be more sensitive around this issue knowing how insecure I feel right now. Yes I've told him how I feel.
I've never been a size 0, but I've been a size 6 and he's always commented on how "fat" I was even back when I was at my thinnest.
I don't understand why he'd even marry me or be with me if I wasn't the type of a woman he'd find attractive.
I don't want to be with someone who will look down on me. I want to be with someone who'd love me and find me attractive.
I even told him this and he doesn't say anything.
Then of course before I had our baby, we went to the beach. I didn't swim and I wasn't in a bathing suit BECAUSE he made it clear to me he would be grossed out when he said "eww" when I suggested I get a maternity bathing suit.
There are ton of other examples I could list here.
I just don't understand why he says things like this and expects me to be A-OK with them.
I don't go telling him how his barely 5in penis is inadequate for me.
I don't go telling him how disgusting his breath it at all times. For the love of God brush your teeth longer than 30seconds.
I don't go around telling him that his 265lb frame is affecting our sex life. He is lazy and totally out of shape yet he has something to say to me. At least my weight gain was with purpose.
I'm not perfect and neither is he. Why is it that its ok for him to say crap to me, but I personally feel it would be very hurtful and rude for me to point out and say things about him that would hurt his feelings.
I really need your guys' help here.
What do I say to him next time he makes a suggestive comment that he is into women who are clearly nothing like me.
I wish he'd just leave me and be with someone who'd make him happy because I'm clearly not doing it.
Men, please give me advice. Why is he being a total f u c k ing jerk?
I married him because i love him. i unlike him find him attractive. He's the type of man i'd want and despite his rude comments, I let things go because if I were to retaliate, it would be a war zone. What kind of marriage is it if I have to fight back every time. I don't want to have to fight back or be on my toes whenever he talks to me.

Question #4:
Where to buy a bathing suit - 13 weeks pregnant?
I'm 13 weeks pregnant with my second and having a hard time finding a bathing suit that fits well. I'm not big enough to wear a maternity suit and don't think I will be all summer (hopefully). I bought a tankini from Target at the beginning of Summer and it's already too tight/small. I'm assuming this is because most of their suits are junior sizes. Any suggestions on where to find a swim suit that will fit for another 2 months or so?Thanks Rwebgirl. I just wanted to add that I am a petite person; hence the junior size, but now my boobs, butt, and obviously tummy are a little bigger than they were 2 months ago lol. Also, I want something pretty affordable since I won't be wearing it for very long :)
Question #5:
Would plus size swim wear work the same as maternity swim wear?
I'm having a really hard time finding a swimming suit that will cover me up. A lot of the maternity swim wear I'm finding are bikinis and such. I want something that covers my belly and my butt. Like a skirt or something. Will plus size swim wear fit me the same as maternity wear would? I want to be comfortable and covered up. I have plans to go to a water park on the 17th of July and by that time I'm going to be around 27 weeks.I am a plus size girl anyway...I wear a XL normally.
Question #6:
So, I want to go swimming and my husband is being a total a-hole about it....?
I'm very pregnant and with a growing belly, everything else grew too, if you know what I mean.I'm no supermodel, I am considered overweight, but I figured I am pregnant and why should I be stuck in the house while my family goes to the beach.
I told my husband I want to get a maternity bathing suit, and his reaction was...get this....."eww".
I thought we're mature adults and me being overweight is a temporary "problem" which should not get in the way of me living my life, especially the fun part of it.
I was really looking forward to going to the beach and swimming with my toddler, but he totally killed my mood.
Again, I know my belly is huge, I know my butt sticks out, I know my boobies are giant.
I don't understand why he'd have this reaction to me wearing a bathing suit.
How would you handle your husband being discouraging about you wearing a bathing suit while pregnant?
I feel like ripping his head off because the last thing I need right now is feel bad about myself. I feel really good, especially knowing I am fast approaching my due date so I figured I'd have some fun before I have the baby.
I just told him "I'm sorry I'm not a size 0 to get your approval".
He just said I was in a bad mood and he'd talk to me later. WTF!!!
Seriously, how would you handle this?
I want to still go, but if he's going to look at me like i'm some kind of monster, then I'd rather just stay home.
Question #7:
Calling All Moms and Dads - Pls. Help Settle This?
Hello All -I hope to keep this on the shorter side , however I would like to ensure I give adequate background.
My BF and I have an 11 mnth son. After I returned from maternity leave we decided it is important to us that one of our son's parents stayed home with him during the day. The logical choice was for my BF to stay home. He is a great Dad and for the most part really enjoys his job as a SAHD.
However....
He does not have a car ( has not had one our entire relashinship) and we do not have alot not to say we don't have what we need when it comes to money. He however is consitantly spending money behind my back which does not help. I recently found out he had purchased $350.00 worth of pay per view movies! That I now need to pay for. When I confornted him about it he made it seem like how could you even have this argument with me I am soooo sick (which he was) but I was sick of him being so desructive with our money and spending a large sum with out even telling me.
Then this morning he sent me texts my whole way into work saying how awful it is and how he feels like such a horrible father b/c he and our son "can never do anything". Keep in mind we live in New England so there is not much of anythign that you could do with a newborn in the winter.
My B/F claims our son gets no exercize and never leaves our town and has a horrible life, blah blah blah. I offer to put our son in day care ( although I do not want to) so my BF can get a job (which would be great) and he hates that idea. He would rather leave me and get off my insurance and basically live of the state (if he could!). I think he s just trying to twist it around on me to make himself look like I am in thw wrong. But I don't see how I could be.
I would LOVE to be able to be a SAHM, but I need to make sacrafices daily and I don't think he sees or understands that.
Also what kind of activities would you suggest doing with a almost one year old? Our son has been taking "swimming lessons" for about 2 months now and socializes with other babies frequently.
Sorry for the long rambeling question.
I won't marry him b/c he does not take responsiblity for his choices. Why is it up to me to fix his life? Should I buy him a car , etc.?
He is a great Dad and they do take walks EVERY day... but he is "sick of the block"
Question #8:
Is an increase in taxes acceptable to help the families of illegals?
Source: Click HereCalifornia is home to more than 2 million illegal immigrants, more than half the nation's total. But even beyond the cost of caring for the immigrants themselves, California increasingly is bearing the burden of caring for the American-born children of such immigrants In 1992, nearly 96,000 babies were born to undocumented women under Medi-Cal coverage. Today, the largest increase in the state welfare roles is among the infant children of illegal aliens. In fact, 40 percent of al: publicly funded births are to illegal immigrants. As American citizens these children immediately are eligible for a vast array of public assistance that in most cases also benefits their mothers.
"We have women coming here and they only know how to say two things in English," says Sally Super, director of the maternity pavilion at Sharp Chula Vista Hospital. "They want a birth certificate and they want to know how to apply for the WIC [Women lnfants and Children] Program.
"I had a woman come into the emergency room whose water broke while she was swimming across the border. She was very, very sick, and so was her baby. I can't even begin to tell you how much it cost to take care of them. I believe that there are organized rings across the border that help these women get to California. Sometimes they'll come several months beforehand in order to set up house. And other times, they'll drive up here in Mercedes Benzes and Cadillacs and claim that they don't have jobs. But they know just what they are doing. They know just what to ask for."
Officials say that many of them are drawn by a program developed by the state of California that was designed to encourage undocumented pregnant women to seek prenatal care. In 1991, California launched a radio-television advertising campaign, dubbed Baby Cal, the goal of which was to promote good prenatal care for poor women statewide. In the past two years, however, nearly $80,000 has been spent on Spanish-language ads transmitted on Mexican radio and television stations. Such ads, say critics, are nothing less than a magnet designed to encourage Mexican residents to come to the US. to have children.
So are you willing to lighten up your wallet or purse to help out the families of illegal aliens?
Maybe you can sell the house for these needy families.
Question #9:
Do you want a lighter wallet/purse for the new wave of anchor babies?

So are ready to sell the house to pay for the anchors babies?
Maybe you can donate your child's College fund to help support more anchor babies?
Question #10:
Why can't I ask a young woman at interview whether she plans to have kids in the near future?
Life is not fair, and running a business is not "a bit of fun" or a hobby, it is a sink or swim daily struggle. If two people turn up to interview, one a 28 year old man and the other a 28 year old woman, both without children and both with exactly the same resumés, why can I not ask the woman if she plans to have kids soon? A small business can go under with maternity leave, job sharers and the expense it takes to train someone only for them to leave a few months later. Obviously for a big organisation this is not a problem, but for a small company it is critical to every employees survival. Why shouldn't I be allowed to ask the question. Unfortunately we live in a world where it is the WOMAN who solely have the children and usually need time off to look after them, disappear at short notice when they are ill, etc. So why should I ever risk it and employ her if both male and female CV's are equal? Some great answers here, but Professsorcc you miss the point. It may be sexist but it is a FACT of business. Men and Women are of course EQUAL but women thinking of having children are not SUITED to working for small businesses. FACT. Deal with it! And with reference to affirmative action - if you are not good enough to do the job how insulting, condescending and resenting to be given the job just because of the colour of your skin or the fact you have a uterus?

Pregnant...bored, lonely and nothing to do all day everyday?
I'm 23 weeks along and I'm not working right now. My husband is at work all day and a lot of the times he's too tired to do anything when he gets home and I don't blame him. I was looking for work after I lost my job but now since I'm further along, I've slowed down on the search. I'd really only be working for a few months then going on maternity leave.I clean the house, make dinner and go swimming a few times a week. I don't have many friends and those that I do have work during the day. The loneliness and boredom is starting to get to me. I have all these nice maternity clothes and no where to wear them.
Can someone give me some ideas of things I can do during the day to occupy my time.
Question #13:
When do i buy maternity wear?
I am 2 months pregnant and is not showing that much yet, but find some of my clothes abit uncomfortable, especially my swimming costume as it seems to pull down. This is my first pregnancy and i don't really know when to start buying maternity wear.Question #14:
have I gained too much for 34 weeks pregnant?
I'm 5'8 and I was 136lb when i first got pregnant and today at 34w1d I'm 165 lbs! So I have gained 29lb. It's been a month without exercise because I was helping with my baby showers and the weather was so cold for me to run/swim (yes, I'm a runner and a swimmer). Now that I have the time to exercise (i just got my maternity leave) i can't even go for a long walk because my baby is already in birth position and walking for a block or two is like a big challenge because I feel a lot of pain in my pelvis. Also, my cravings started two months ago and I want sweets 24/7. Am I too big already? I know I should control myself but trust me, All i can think about is candy and chocolate cookies!thanks girls for your answers =)
Question #15:
pregnant and notthing to wear..?

Question #16:
Question about maternity bottoms? Does anyone else have this problem?
I have 2 pairs of maternity pants, 2 pairs of capris, 2 pairs of shorts and one pair of bermuda shorts.Almost all of them minus 2 pairs of secret belly fit don't fit my tummy. They fit every where else, my butt, my legs, my hips, my thighs, except my tummy. The elastic will either roll down, or will be so tight on my tummy that they'reuncomfortablee. I've tried to buy a bigger size, they fit my tummy, but are HUUUUGE every where else, the shorts look like I'm swimming in them! What is up with that? Does anyone else have this problem? And most of them go to my lower to mid waist. What happened to the ones that went all the way up? Only the secret belly ones do that now, but they're alot more expensive!
Question #17:

Question #18:
This baby is costing me how much?!?!?
I an halfway through my pregnancy and feeling great! My little boy is just swimming around happy as a clam. I'm due on October 25th and I have plans to take the standard 6 week leave on October 13th (you might think it's crazy, but the school where I teach has a paid break September 28-October 12 and Christmas break starts 2 weeks after I get back), But that leave is totally unpaid. I'm contemplating using my sick days but I don't have many saved up. Basically, while I'm out recuperating from childbirth and bonding with my little man, I'll be missing out on over $4000! I knew babies were expensive but I thought there'd be some shopping involved!I worked it out that I'll be unable to pay the bills for one full month. Which comes to about $1000. I have supplemental life insurance that pays me for injuries, but since I got in right after I found out I was pregnant, they consider it a "pre-existing condition". Is there an insurance policy that will cover maternity leave? What other options do I have?
I just figured out that I will have altogether 15 sick days and 7 personal days by the time the baby is born. I can either use those days to pay for part of my maternity leave or spend more time with the baby until Christmas break. Hmm.....
Question #19:
what does Maternity Swim wear need to be ?
am doing GCSE Child care, i have homwork to collect infomation and pictures on maternity wear,Does swimwear need to be different to just normal swimwear ?
Thanks
Question #20:
When you were pregnant what did you wear the the beach?
I am so excited for summer! The pools the beaches everything! But I have no idea what to wear! I haven't found a maternity bathing suit that I liked yet. At first I was all for wearing a bikini but the bigger my belly gets the more I want to keep it to myself and husband. I am having some body issues and don't feel comfortable in a bikini at this point. I have always been really skinny and worn bikinis. Don't get me wrong I am not upset about not wearing a bikini bc I am so happy we are having a baby! But I don't know what to wear to swim in! So I was thinking of this. Maybe wearing my bikini with a maternity tank top or tube top over it? Or would that be ugly? I will be 24 weeks on thursday and my bump is pretty big! Does anyone have any suggestions?!?! thanks!!!** Powered by Yahoo Answers
